The nucleus of “Shirat HaYam” settled in the Jordan Valley.

One can already see buds in building and agriculture.

In the beginning, caravans were brought for the families, the few established structures were intended for the families who remained in Hemdat.

It was not possible to absorb more families due to lack of housing.

However, the spirit that the nucleus families had with them led to results. Four additional caravans were brought to absorb four more families to strengthen the nucleus.

Thank G-d, the permanent structures started to be built, land for the day care was prepared and the community is growing, blossoming and becoming established.

The agriculture: a grove of olive trees and a grove of date trees were planted. 400 dunam of the date trees is divided: some of the area belongs to the community and some belongs to private residents.
