Be’er Ganim is the youngest locality in the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council. It was stablished in 2012 as a solution for families of farmers from Gush Katif and their sons.
The name of this community is composed of the initials of nine of the Gush Katif settlements that were uprooted in the summer of 2005: Bedolah, Elei Sinai, Rafiah Yam, Gadid, Gan Or, Netzer Hazani, Nissanit, Neve Dekalim and Morag.
In the community there are kindergartens, synagogues and youth clubs that have been planned in each cluster.
Be’er Ganim is home to over 350 families who have built their permanent home. The community is constantly evolving and families from all over the region and the whole country are joining. Education, synagogues, public parks, the community combines religious and traditional populations, veteran families of Gush Katif and young couples and maintains a cohesive and vibrant community lifestyle.
